The perfect
cappuccino.
The cappuccino is named after the clothing of the Capuchin monks: They used to often wear brown robes and had a tonsure. This is where the name for the light-brown cappuccino, which has a white spot in the center, comes from.
A cappuccino is an espresso with frothed milk.
Here's how to make this classic dish:
- Brew an espresso. The cup size should be 150–180 ml.
- Froth 120–150 ml of milk.
- Pour the frothed milk over the espresso.
Pro tip: Cappuccino also tastes great with plant-based milk alternatives; oat and pea protein milk, in particular, pair perfectly with the flavor of the coffee.
We recommend the following brewing methods: portafilter machine or fully automatic machine.
