The perfect
caffè latte.
For anyone who finds a cappuccino too strong, there's a milder version: the caffè latte. Incidentally, its Portuguese version is called galão and is usually served in a glass.
A caffè latte is a variation of the cappuccino with even more milk.
Here's how to make this classic dish:
- Brew an espresso. To make sure there's enough room for the milk, the cup should hold 220–300 ml.
- Froth 200–220 ml of milk.
- Pour the frothed milk over the espresso.
Pro tip: Don’tfroth the milk when it’s too hot, or the milk proteins will curdle and affect the flavor.
